Say goodbye to pesky fleas with Advantus (imidacloprid). This powerful flea treatment provides fast and effective relief for your furry friend. A single dose of Advantus soft chews starts killing adult fleas within one hour. And it's out of their system in 24-hours,* so your dog can get back to enjoying life.
If there are fleas in your dog's environment and your dog becomes re-infested, you can safely repeat treatment as often as once per day. Although it does not prevent fleas, the active ingredient, imidacloprid, is a potent insecticide that works to kill fleas when they bite your dog. When fleas ingest the product, the active ingredient over-stimulates the flea's nervous system and kills the flea. Your dog's flea and tick prevention should continue with Advantus soft chews. For monthly flea and tick prevention for dogs, consider Advantage II, Seresto or K9 Advantix II for dogs.
Designed for dogs and puppies aged 10 weeks and older and weighing between 23 and 110 lbs., Advantus is a convenient and savory soft chew that can be given to your dog directly by placing it in their mouth or having them take it from your hand. It's available without a prescription, so you can immediately begin treating your dog's flea infestation. Advantus is also available for dogs ranging in weight between 4 and 22 lbs.
For best results, use Advantus at the first sign of fleas. Advantus fights fleas fast, providing relief within the hour. Follow the label instructions carefully, and keep out of reach of children and pets. For complete directions for use and safety information, see product label.
